My sister was considering the same thing and wound up buying a CX-9 in December. It's not the biggest inside, but it was her favorite for how well it drove and she liked the interior quality and exterior styling. I think she paid only $36k for a Grand Touring AWD.

that mist be a 4wd version or a lifted 4runner

regular 4runners are the same height off the ground as a camry

have her take a look at this one, it seems to be a great deal

I was told by a Hyundai sales person they are ramping up production for Palisade so in a couple of months they will more than likely be much more willing to negotiate the price. If this is true for the Palisade then it probably also applies to the Telluride
That is great. I'm in the market for one but my current vehicle is fine so I am willing to wait at least 8-10 months to save a few grand.

We went to the car show over the weekend. Didn't really like the highlander, but my wife really likes the pilot and mdx. Also i surprisingly really liked the Subaru forester, but I told her she better not leave me for another woman and move to Montana.

went with the atlas over the ascent and palisade for a few reasons.

The palisade is difficult to find the one you want for under sticker. most places were selling them over sticker before they got off the truck. I did like the 10year 100k power train warranty but its non transferable so it doesn't help the resale.

The ascent only has the 3/36 warranty and were not budging off sticker much at all. Fantastic car and very reliable but couldnt get a good enough deal. And it looks like a mini van the most.

With the atlas I got a 2019 instead of the 2020. No major changes except the warranty gets worse with the 2020 losing 2 years and 20k miles. with the 2019 the standard is bumper to bumper 6 year 72,000 mile warranty. I got them to knock off 8k from the sticker, bump the warranty up to 10 year 100k bumper to bumper through vw and install running boards. got a great deal. Most of the vw dealers were doing similar deals as well.

after 10 years when the bumper to bumper is up its getting sold.

I'm surprised they aren't budging off the sticker.

I guess too many people want 3 row crossovers now.

Get a Highlander so it will hold re-sell value.

Not many crossovers/SUVs have "bad" resale. They are hot items now.

BTW the SUV with the highest resale currently is the GMC Yukon and Jeep Wrangler.

I hope you just mean you got them for free. Who in the frick wants running boards? They look terrible and all they do is get your pants dirty when you try to avoid them. IDK how those things got started. Every damn 4Runner I see has them, do you really need help getting in a vehicle that height?
