Any medical sales companies to steer clear of when looking for a job?

Depends. Are you blonde, less than 125 lbs and a C+ cup?

Uh no, male. What companies would you recommend to work for? Typically how much do they pay annually? Thanks for any info.

True if Pharma.

Not true if medical device sales. Which is the much better gig anyhow.

Most companies in this space are pretty good. It really depends on the territory you end up in. I would definitely not join a smaller company. Bigger companies are the way to go. Do research on Yahoo Finance about specific companies before you interview.

Compensation you're looking at anywhere from $75k - $250k+.

I'd say $140k is the average these days. And that's unfortunately down from what it used to be. Guys used to easily clear $300-400k+ in the 90's in med. device sales.

Stryker's interviewing process is a joke. Good luck with the Gallup interview.

One that you won't be on call for on weekends and middle of the night.

Search and strive for DME sales. That's the longevity you're looking for.

They're both fine. I know more about Ortho. Do you have a specific company you're looking at interviewing with?
