Looking forward to the day Louisiana legalizes weed in 2040. Looks like I'll be moving to Colorado/Washington/etc. at some point soon.

All good in Oklahoma. Picked up a gram of shatter, a gram of crumble and 1/2 oz of GMO flower on the way home

Not like Louisiana needs the money.

All our schools are brand new.
Our roads are incredible.

Who needs that tax revenue?
We obviously dont.

. Medical is all but obsolete at this point
The only thing a medical card does here is get you a discount at recreational stores (unless you want to grow. It is useful for that). If you have a military id you get the same discount so you don't even have to bother or worry about being on a registry.

I'm pretty sure all the old school medical dispensaries were closed down a few years ago.

The lines for medical are also significantly shorter, usually non-existent. So there's that.

I will say we have huge incentives for being a patient with us, bc it allows us to grow more plants. I got my card just for the savings.

We always jest about the Med side, but honestly, it’s what is really saving us right now. If med didn’t exist currently, I’d venture to guess they would have had an easier time closing all rec stores.

Same lines here. Only difference is you show your card for a discount when you check out. Lines are usually pretty short here anyways.

Different setup here. One line for rec, one for med.

To be fair, I don't think the federal government cares if you agree or not.

Goddamnit North Louisiana we should be in on this.

The sales at Mardi Gras alone would explode our economy

I'd love to read a Q&A. Illinois just opened up for recreation and it sounds like its gone really well so far.

Shout out to the card holders. I'm pretty sure they're the only thing keeping the rec stores open at this point.

I’ll try to do a formal one as soon as we slow down or get shut down. My head hurts thinking about the fact that 4/20 (always our biggest sales day) is coming up and it doesn’t look like any of this will be cleared up by then.

I feel for you buddy. I hope y’all continue to stay in business during this time. In my mind, you’re definitely essential.

No. I’m sorry if I gave that impression with that statement. I described my work earlier in this thread - I’m a lobbyist that represents cannabis clients.

I'm about ready to make a road trip to southeast Colorado. Wonder if they'll deliver to a roadside park?

I suffer from Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome and my wife only lets me smoke on Sunday’s (for my own good) but I live in Texas so it’s illegal anyways. I’m sure business is up for the local peddlers here though.
