Understand completely. They had me on time delayed morphine and norco for pain along with xanax and lorezapam for anxiety along with dilaudid shots every 5 minutes while I was in the hopital. That's just the pain stuff since THC doesn't have antibiotic properties (that I know of).
The truth is without me being a stoner for 35 years would have easily been hooked on the pills. I hated the pills but without having another alternative to help me through the situation I'd be popping those things left and right.
Having a colon bladder prostate and other organs removed would easily get me any pill I want. Trust me. I went in for my first cancer check up last week and all I had to do was say I need this and I'd have it.
Having been on that prescription crap for almost the last two years I can easily say that the THC and the things made from THC have given me a much better pain management system (meaning I can still function on THC) than the pills ever came close to.
Less pain, better function. But the pharmaceutical companies can't make money on weed.
and don't get me started on chemo vs cannabis oil

my statement was meant at medical marijuana is nothing different than marijuana on the street.
Its the same thing just packaged nice, sorted by THC content, strains, etc. But at the end of the day they both are the same thing. You just get a mystery bag on the street.

Sativa. I've switched to this during the day after removal of the colon, bladder, prostate and about 20 lymph nodes along with other shite. Yup. Basically Sativa is day time medicine and indica is nighttime/chill medicine.
What's better is depending on the temperature at which you vape, the effects can be tempered. THC has a lower boiling point than CBD, so if you vape between those two temps you get more of that active and productive high, whereas if you vape at a much high temp you get much more CBD and you get more "in the couch" effect.
The invention of handheld vapes with precise temperature controls combined with an increased awareness of strains has really changed how awesome marijuana is.
You want to see the incredible differences? Smoke a joint of swag ditch weed and then vapes something like northern lights or strawberry diesel or fruity pebbles.
But it's all the same, has no medical value at all, and is more dangerous and addicting that heroin according to the US Government.
Unfortunately, because of this s asinine governmental corruption fueled by textiles, alcohol, and pharmaceuticals, I can't just enjoy a bowl to help me go to sleep I have to down a fifth of bourbon and a handful of sleeping pills.

In WA where I'm at, med card holders get 10% off. Not positive it's the case everywhere, but I think it's state law.
Most places also give a 10% military discount (obviously active duty can't smoke) so if you have some sort of military ID there isn't much point in getting a prescription, especially if you'd prefer not to be documented.
