True, I believe it is an effort to understand the amount that one is consuming.

So they will test and label the products' THC content to let users know, that way they don't get too high. This application would work well for people who just want pain relief, rather than getting stoned AF.

Everything about the keakar post is false.

And to actually answer your question from a production standpoint: medical and recreational plants come from the same “mother” plants, via clones. They are genetically identical, the only difference is whether the grower puts a yellow tag (medical) or a blue tag (rec) on it.

ETA: don’t worry, most people who work the stores don’t even know this

In Oregon and Washington the only difference is a med card pays a smaller price. Not sure about WA but in Oregon they don't pay the tax a recreational buyer would.

Eta...typical med strains are lower in thc and higher in cbd but not always.

Marijuana is Marijuana is false.

Certain strains do certain things and then strains within the strains do even more.

The main two are sativa and indica.

Indica for me, from a medical standpoint, was perfect for a certain thing. Stage IV colon cancer so pain was hideous and I needed to just rest. Indica is known within as indacouch. It's that type of "high". Within Indica can be other strains such as purple kush etc. The person who I deal with would make the oil that I attempted out of indica. It would not have been wise to be bouncing off the walls, which leads to...

Sativa. I've switched to this during the day after removal of the colon, bladder, prostate and about 20 lymph nodes along with other shite. This helps me zip through the day without wanting to kill myself too often. It's not a numbing high, it's a brain zipping bouncing around the house kind of high. There are strains within sativa that will fight inflammation while also healing surgical incisions.

Weed is weed and it's the "same" but each different strain can fight different medical issues while also enhancing other needs.

Of course I live in a backwards ignorant state so all of this is done "illegally".

The majority of your post is incorrect and you even argue against yourself at one point

this type of weed is super concentrated and one joint of that is about the same as smoking 5 joints of "normal" weed. this is what most young people smoke and its very unpredictable as to how high you will get even smoking the same amount each time.

Everyone is a weed expert once they’ve smoked it a few times.

It’s the most frustrating thing about working in the industry
