Are you on any medications? My advice is to not listen to an American doctor/drug dealer. Get off any medications immediately and live a normal, healthy life.
American doctors are in the business of getting you to come back, not heal. In bed with the drug manufacturers.

Yes, I’ve experienced that all of my adult life. I learned to enjoy it. I can now even pull up songs I like. Sometimes one I don’t like will “take over.” I put my AirPods in and flood it til it’s gone. Then I go back to my “normal” list.
It’s a neurological issue. Harmless but can be annoying. It’s associated with getting songs “stuck in your head.”
My personal assessment is that it’s an evolutionary holdover for many of us. Before we developed a writing system to record memories, I think we used singing as a way to pass “institutional memories” between generations. This required a lot of memorization and selected for those who could retain memories longest and most accurately.

I wake up in morning and there is music or songs in my head. I mean songs from years and years ago.
I have done the same thing for quite some time. The good thing about it is that it is generally some classic rock and typically a damn good song. I began to realize it when I recently retired. No eye soreness, though.

In social settings, no songs. If I’m alone and busy, however, they’re there.

Yes, I get it too. First thing in the morning. Usually it's some sound or something in the bedroom or bathroom that triggers it. Strange tunes as well. I'm talking stuff like the Dif'rent Strokes theme and such. I'm shittin you negative. I chalked it up to my mild OCD. It's annoying, but I just live with it.

And Medicaid is the problem with our health system.
This dude has had at least two tests run by three doctors about songs stuck in his head. Not a doctor, but my diagnosis is "you're normal." Don't take two of anything, and don't call me in the morning.

Wait, it’s not normal to constantly have music in your head? I’ve had that all my life. Current songs, old songs, commercials…..

I have “‘Method of Modern Love” stuck in my head currently. Enjoy!

I think I have OCD too. I have to check door three to four times to make sure locked. Have dog bowls in same arrangement. Damm may have something to do with this. You been diagnosed with OCD?

While I agree that Medicaid is a scam and a drain on the system...this condition is not always normal..
I had a friend who had the song "I'm too sexy for my shirt" stuck in her head with some pressure and slight headaches and it was a glioblastoma...she lasted longer than she should have after the diagnosis and we laughed about her choice of songs til the day she passed.

No, it's not significant enough for me to seek treatment for it specifically, but I recognize enough traits and thought patterns to assume I have a mild to moderate version of it.

ETA: On a serious note, I got hit in the head by a baseball in 6th gade and had epileptic seizures into my 50's. Before I had one I had what the doctors called an aura. It was like my mind hit replay, and I heard things people said to me exactly as they said it. Sometimes it was like I was reliving that moment.
I'd go to a neurologist and get checked out. My seizures were grand mal ones. I woke up from every one of them feeling like I was hung over. Couldn't get out of the bed because of the headache.
