Thanks for the all the info everyone. I am going to call my mom tomorrow to talk to her about it at all and to talk to her about what was said at my pre-op appointment for my back. I appreciate all the input!

The paramedics had to physically come in and carry her out because she couldn't move. The doctors there ran tests and just said she had a severe case of vertigo.

I'm thinking she had a stroke of some sort, and is still suffering from the side effects
Sure, frick what the doctor says, I read about this shite online.

Hope she feels better soon....it is miserable. I had it for a couple of weeks during my first semester of law school. They gave me antivert and all it did was knock my arse out. I was either asleep or watching the room spin.
Over a weekend I had decided it was all to much and I was going to go withdraw from school on Monday. That sunday it suddenly stopped and knock on wood I have never had it again to that extent.

Dehydration
Diabetic nervous system damage
High Blood Pressure
are the three main causes of it.

Did they put her on antivert? Could be BPPV. If you know a PT or have access to one have them the epley maneuver is worth a shot.
LINK this is a video of how to do the epley maneuver to yourself. although it's in a different language you can watch the video and read some instructions and put the two together. better if a professional does it but worth a shot.
LINKhere's another video that is probably easier to do. includes some explanation as well.

Everyone may laugh and make fun of me, but it is a fact that chemtrails cause vertigo.

quote:
Samples (from chemtrail spray) contain a bacterium, Pseudomonas Fluorescens, which is responsible for serious blood infections. Mr. Thomas characterizes this organism as a bacterium that his research has shown to be named in more than 160 Pentagon patents pertaining to both biological warfare applications and aerosol inoculation experiments. It is also cited in DOD literature as an experimental biowarfare bacteria. Additionally, Pseudomonas Fluorescens is known to attack the respiratory system and is associated with severe coughing fits, general weakness, and vertigo and is extremely resistant to most antibiotics.

Well done. And, maybe I'm just paranoid, but I feel like the chemtrails have been more and more frequent lately. I saw 5 in the sky AT THE SAME TIME yesterday.

When I've been out riding, I've also seen a lot more. I don't think you are being paranoid. They are really being obvious about it.

I had something very similar due to a Type 2 diabetes medication called Invokana.......between it causing severe diabetic ketacidosis I also had the symptoms of vertigo and it it went away as soon as I quit the Invokana.
It sucked and would come on at inopportune times: Just standing in one place, backing out of a parking spot, etc.
Is she Type 2 diabetic?

She is not diabetic at all. I told her that when I get home from my Pre-op tomorrow that I am calling her and she had better have called and made an appointment to be seen for further tests.

Are you suggesting vertigo is caused solely by chemtrails or chemtrails is one of many causes?

A cause, not the only cause - and probably not one of the primary causes.
The number one cause of a red face is EMF sensitivity.

My Dad has had this for years. Not sure what the true cause is, he sees an ENT once a year, but an attack is brought on by stress. If he can get an anti-nausea pill down & keep it down he is fine. If he starts to vomit we have to call an ambulance. He goes to ER for a shot of anti-nausea meds & a bag of fluids. Once he's had that he's totally fine. Years ago he had the dizziness & it took longer to get over, it all has something to do with the inner ear. He takes over the counter pills for ringing in the ears daily now, that seems to help. Good luck!!!

An MRI is the only way to make sure there is no cerebral infarct (stroke). There are many causes of vertigo but the most serious would be a posterior circulation infarct to the brainstem/cerebellar region. A CT scan is useless in this regard.
