I'd rather watch a youtube video teaching me how to do it and then do it myself. Some still feel good when they learn to do something handy.

Did you just finish watching a YouTube video on comparing yourself to strangers on the internet?

Anyone that doesn't have a set of Torx in their toolbox is not a man. Been around for decades.

$95 per hour is the sweet spot for breaking even in a mechanic shop. If you pay out commission or bonuses, you are likely losing money at that rate. You make money on parts, not labor. $37.19 puts you at 20 mins worth of labor, if bulb was included. I think that's very fair considering it will probably take all 20 mins. That shop only makes $3-5 on that $37.19 sale.

Jaguar wanted around $160 to replace the windshield wipers. No lie.
