I'm not doubting it. I have no idea. But to act like you know because you worked there 21 years ago is funny.

McD is shite compared to CFA. CFA is a wholesome Christian establishment with quality products. Proud to give CFA my continuing business

How could you possibly know what goes on currently?

Because I know people who work there now and their processes haven't changed. It's why they are doing as well as they are.

I don't know because I worked there 21 years ago. I know because I worked there. Period. I still know people at various stores, including operators, and they haven't changed anything.

I get it, but the corporate culture is about being the centerpiece of a lot of communities. And to some extent, they're successful in doing that.

It's what led to Chick-fil-a getting one of the greatest viral promotions ever during the Houston flooding.

That makes more sense.

Companies change all the time so unless you know someone currently there, 21 years ago doesn't mean anything.

I agree, but if CFA tasted like McDonalds, I would compliment their efforts and not eat there.

For sure. To varying degrees, the food is merely the vehicle that lets them accomplish a corporate mission. But like you said, it has to be decent/good or they don't get anywhere.

That may change, especially post-Truett, and CFA knows they're facing a big challenge to keep things that way in the face of rapid growth.

Yeah, this I know. Look at it like a math word problem. I threw in a piece of info that wasn't relevant.

Still, you have to assume I might still know some folks.

I had not eaten at McDonalds in over two years. I bought a quarter pounder and fries one day and ate all of it quickly. My head was over the toilet later on ready to vomit. Stomach was not used to that greasy fatty food.

I love the secular/agnostic pearl clutchers who feel the need to demean CFA while watching it utterly dominate the fast food industry

McDonald's operates almost 37,000 franchises world-wide. Chic-fil-a only has 2,200. Sure CFA has better service and a good menu but let's not pretend that McD's doesn't dominate the world's fast food market. Regardless of what you think of their service or their food or the fact that they don't use a crucifix instead of golden arches, you have to admit that they not only created the fast food industry itself but a global product as recognizable as Coke or Nike or Superman. Chic-Fil-A can't say that.

Fwiw--If Satan opened a fast food chicken sandwich chain equal to CFA I would eat there on Sundays.

At least McDonald's will heat the cheese on their sandwiches.

Chikfila serves cold, processed cheese. But they do it with a smile, so I guess they get to have a pass...
