This is what he made last year. 1.3 mil base and 2.4 mil cash bonus. And whatever stocks he vested/exercised last year (not shown below). The rest is long term incentives in form of mcd stock. They'll probably release a filing of how much of his unvested stocks, if any, he gets to keep.

I worked for McDonald's corporate for about 13 years.
There was a guy named Ralph Alvarez. He was a bigwig and a Division president. Got caught screwing a franchisee's wife. But he was a really smart guy. So he got demoted and sent to South America. Most of that is on his wikipedia page.
Rehabbed his image and got back in good graces of the company. Made it back up to the president of North America. Retired in 2009 due to chronic knee pain.
Actually, he resigned after getting caught bringing hookers on the company jet. A couple people got fired in that one. The story I heard was the pilot came out and saw him getting a BJ. Reported it back and an investigation was started. A guy I know who was often responsible for acquiring the talent was about to take a big job in Japan and was there househunting. They brought him back and fired him immediately.
This is not McDonald's first rodeo in this arena. Lots of stories about how wild the 80s and 90s were.
