Well, you're posting in the thread, so...

I disagree with their views on gay marriage but don't give a frick. People can believe what they want. If I stopped patronizing every place that had ownership or management that held a value contrary to one of my own I would run out of places to patronize pretty quickly. And that chicken is dank as frick.
Eta: and I particularly don't like a government actor encouraging boycotting a private business for any reason, especially for having a certain worldview

Politicians shouldn't encourage hate against private businesses and the practices that private businesses do as long as they aren't outright hurting the general public. This guy should be kicked out of office.
He really is toeing the line of what's considered suppression of speech/religion.
And like someone else said, I guarantee he's not encouraging the boycott of Muslim restaurants and establishments when they'd just as soon push a gay person off a roof.

and yet he voted for Obama in 08 who held the same views

It would seem everyone in this thread does?

From what I've been reading, a vast majority of New Yorkers are thrilled about a CFA opening up in their city.
De Blasio needs to stfu.

Maybe the city should boycott by not collecting their taxes

Eh, no, not really. I still don't think it's appropriate.

Maybe Dill DeBlasio should worry about urging New Yorkers to boycott something that actually does "impart a strong anti-LGBT message": Islam.

Does this dude do any actual mayoring? It seems like he just randomly picks groups of people to piss off every now and then.
Posted on 5/5/16 at 2:26 pm to gatorhata9
I might just have to go to Chik Fil A just to
DiBlasio.
He should ask Christine Quinn how that worked out last time.
