Going back in this thread and see the interview video was already posted. Hopefully no one minds if it's posted a few times.
It's so detailed. What a great guy though.

What happens when a bunch of people are killed by the gunman and the vigilantes?
Ever heard of Switzerland?

Is it scary/sad that this was un-stickied not 24 hours after the event?

That guy is America...something so many have lost sight of over the past few decades.

The guy knew where he was aiming to hit the guy in the right spot on the side where the armor was connected. His NRA instructor experience came in handy. He wasn't just some crazed neighbor shooting blindly.

What a great, humble man. Great interview.
Interesting to hear his version of what happened. Especially what he noticed and took advantage of. I wonder if Carson546854 and jbGleason who both said that he was "lucky" have heard the interview?

About 20 other people were injured when police say 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley went aisle to aisle in the church looking for victims and shot crying babies at point-blank range.
WOW, what a piece of shite.

So many wonderful people gone, the first funerals are Saturday when we'll be laying Richard and Theresa to rest. Theresa I've known my whole life, she was childhood friends with my mom and was in my parents wedding, she later came to work for me as my office manager where she handled the office for over 22 years. Richard went to work for me on 1991 when I was a foreman for our company, he was great guy and a hard worker, later in life he found his life partner in Theresa, they both retired in 2015 to spend more time with their grandchildren and travel, they never missed church on Sunday. Our only solace in this terrible time is knowing they were in church and as close to god as they could have been when they were taken from us and the fact they are in a much better place now. Rest in Peace my friends.

The gunman who committed the massacre in a rural Texas church fired continuously for several minutes, methodically shooting his victims — including small children — in the head, execution-style, a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said on Wednesday.
quote:
A video camera captured the blood bath inside the church, which left 26 people dead and 20 wounded — the worst mass shooting in Texas history — and state and federal investigators have reviewed that gruesome footage. The official estimated that the shooting in the video lasted about seven minutes.
Seven. fricking. Minutes. I'm at a loss for words.
