I would've been incredibly upset and angry if he had taken video of my dead daughter.

Same. It's not that he took video. He felt the need to upload to different websites.

I don't think it's as much creepy as it is a symptom of hindsight being 20/20; i.e., looking back and drawing conclusions knowing what she knows now. For example, the regular gun safe turns sinister now knowing that he killed all of those people. What they once might have dismissed as a privacy thing, they now look at as a creepy or disturbing thing.

Good point. Very true. Hindsight confirmation bias turning otherwise relatively normal behavior into ominous red flags.

I feel you on this. I say "Hi" to my neighbors. Don't really care for more interaction than that as I'm not hanging out with them.

Haven't seen much discussion on Paddock being prescribed Valium in June for anxiety. Nonissue?

IMO yes. He was prescribed 50 about 100 days ago, big deal.

I can understand that sentiment for sure. I think a lot of people are relieved it was posted though. There was a poster in this thread freaking out for 10 pages because there hadn't been any photos released of the dead bodies. Some people just need closure I guess.

Watch the entire video. He's running looking for EMTs to direct them to the wounded with a pulse. He gets into an argument with someone(not sure if LEO or just employee) about the lights still being shut off long after the shooting stopped. "If you can turn them back on , TURN THEM ON. We need light." he told the guy out of view of the camera.
He also in the video tells someone tending to a wounded person he can't treat them he's just trying to help direct the EMTs/Nurses to the ones who can be saved. His intentions were solid.

Got caught at work, had to pause halfway through, i'll finish up later, but that makes sense.

I retract my loser comment lol. but the 1st minute or so seemed like that's what he was doing.

AS for someone taking video, I have expressed in this thread that I'm one of those people who absolutely want to digest every picture/video/timelines available.

Same, there's no shame in it.

I totally get this. But that doesn't mean it wasnt in extremely poor taste for this guy to walk around with a camera. If it had been one of my kids dead on his video...god help him.

Yea, I admit that I'm probably 100% being hypocritical but I think it's in poor taste to take AND post these videos online. But at the same time I watch them.

No clue. Anxiety manifests itself differently from person to person. I don't think it would explain a homicidal rampage.

I am curious to see if any drugs were in his system. I wonder how long the autopsy results will take to become public.

This..The guy was trying to help as best as he could, getting EMT's to the people who were still alive and could be saved. He was doing something positive, unlike others who just stood around with their phones and talking about stuff he got in and got his hands bloody (literally) trying to help. The fact that his GoPro was still going (most likely had it running for the concert, is just happenstance, but he was out there doing what he could to help.

I'm still leaning toward this guy ingesting one too many Aloha Snackbars.

He was doing some decent things out there. Him just posting it to website was just uh...happenstance? He needs attention?

Girlfriend came home from the Philippines in a wheelchair....will be interesting to hear what that could be about. Mental stress has her worn out? CIA beat her up? She's playing the frail old woman card?

It is just a fast way to move someone from point A to B in LAX especially if they are tired from a international flight, nothing more.

I agree that part of him wanted to help. However, he only uses one hand when trying to assist people and the video is wobbly, meaning he was holding the camera and purposely filming it.

Would you be mad still if he had caught some last words to give out from a victim to their family/loved ones/child/parents etc?

Honestly, when I first saw the video, I thought he was recording to have some kind of proof when he contacted the victims. I hear horror stories of litigation being brought up against good samaritans. But after some time to digest it, I think it was in poor taste to put it on the internet. Maybe it wasn't him who did it though. Idk.

In that same breath, I think it's beneficial for people to be aware of the atrocities that come up in life. Not to fear monger, but to show that there's a side to life that isn't rainbows and butterflies. No matter how offended or horrified you are watching it, it does serve as a twisted teaching lesson on how sick some people are.

Trump's gonna tell us what's up in this next press conference? Yes or No?

I say yes, to some degree.

Also, in the sense of her being in custody, having her in a wheelchair is a soft way of making sure they get her where they need her to be without any hassle.

Nah, probably just a quick update and a plea for Americans to stand together at this time.

I think he'll thank local LEO and first responders and commend the FBI etc on the fine job they're doing. It's not his place to give out the details imo.
