Why? You have a much better chance of getting killed by lightning than shot by a crazy person.

Not sure where you can donate to other victims but shopping @ either Red Arrow or Parish Ink is a good way to show your support for Jillian Johnson.
That's the first thing I did this morning. Bought a bunch of random stuff from both places because I didn't know what else to do. All great stuff anyway at those shops.

My wife is having a girls' weekend and a minute ago, she told me she just walked out of Trainwreck.

Life isn't worth living if its lived in fear.

Just saw this image on Lafayette Travel. Believe this is what they're using to honor the deceased and unify the community.

Not really. There have been 22 lightning deaths this year. Charleston and Lafayette alone are 11 deaths.

But no I agree, its still silly to live your life in fear of this kind of thing. Its impossible to know when and where these things will happen and the chances are so slim. Its just terrible it had to happen here in LA.

Anyone have a link where people can donate to victims?

Here is the Go Fund Me page for the two teachers who were shot, set up by the Iberia Association of Educators.

Religious zealots are a scary lot. Doesn't matter the religion involved, they should be bastardized. One would think the more they (WBC) show their ugly side the better. John Wyane said it best once..."It's getting to be regoddamndiculous".

ETA: Can't imagine what the victims and their family's pain is like...

Look I am not a left wing nut. I am a card carrying third generation Southern Republican. I also own a small arsenal, as I am a avid hunter. I also believe that is is imperative for our system to work that citizens have the right be well armed.

That said, this shite is getting out of control and if the NRA, (I was a member for many years), doesn't help find a solution to all these mentally unstable people having access to guns, we are all going to be in trouble.

If I go nuts, I could take out a small town. Millions like me. We need a system of safeguards to stop this. My neighbor had a massive stroke and lost it, was wondering streets, breaking in houses even though was millionaire doctor etc. He also had a about dozen guns. (No clue why didn't hunt) If steps were not taken to keep these from him God knows what would have happened.
