Sev09, they did find a bunch of wigs and stuff (either in the car or his Motel 6 room... I forget which.)
Yep

But they have some clues suggesting this wasn't a spontaneous act. Authorities searching Houser's hotel room and vehicle found wigs, glasses and other apparent disguises. And he'd swapped out the license plates on his Lincoln Continental, parking it right outside an exit door to the Grand 16.

Yep. Has it been said if he was wearing a wig yesterday?

My parents swear this is the same guy they saw at a movie in Baton Rouge on July 4th weekend.

A strange looking guy, wearing an obvious wig and baseball cap walked into a movie on his own. For whatever reason, my parents were very uneasy about it and left the theater before the movie started.

Could have been this guy on the way to Laffy, either almost doing it then and chickening out, or planning/practicing.

I'm sure they would still like to know and how does one not mention that to the authorities?

I loved that store when I lived there and want to go back and hug her husband.

from reading his online postings, I think this is evidence that he truly believed he was being watched or followed by the government

My wife took our 6 year old to an early afternoon screening of Minions a few days ago at the Grand. She actually mentioned that day that there was a random older white guy just sitting in there by himself and it was kind of creepy. In a fricking kids movie. She is freaked the frick out right now.

She did call the hotline and give them the story.

gtfo with that.. they felt uneazy and left.. nothing happend, and then they felt foolish for leaving. Why would they tell anyone at the time. Not a thing they could have done or anyone else.

The next mass shooting that will cause people to absolutely freak is some type of sporting event. God please never let this happen. Don't even know what to think if something like this happened at LSU football game

I have a friend who works for the FBI mainly with domestic terrorism. He told me that one of the scenarios they prepared for was if someone used a cropduster and flew over a stadium. It could just contain water, but the hysteria and fear would cause multiple people to get crushed as everyone tried to leave. Then the hospitals would be overwhelmed by people who had "symptoms" from the water.

I know in Tuscaloosa that the area around the stadium has flight restrictions but the Tuscaloosa airport is only 3 miles from the stadium. There would be no time to do anything before it is over.

If they pick a big game (like LSU) they could affect the 100k in the stadium and another 50k or so that are still around campus or on the quad.

For real though, you should call that hotline and let them know this. If it's him, then it could help.

What theater btw?

I'm not playing Devil's Advocate, but would you inform security on every strange looking person you saw somewhere? I see weird people all the time and my first thought isn't going to run to tell someone. I just avoid them.

If the guy gave them a serious uneasy feeling, so uneasy that they left the movie. I just don't know. I am sure it's something that they will be kicking themselves over but I can't say that if I were in the same position I would go alert security or whatever over everyone that made me feel uneasy. Hindsight is 20/20 though and it's easy to say 'this is what I would have done in that situation'.

Im pretty sure in this day and age that if you told the police someone was in the theater alone, in a disguise, that they would probably check it out. Might not have been him, but what if it was? What if he had a gun on him? What if he just got cold feet? Who knows.

looks like they told the manager though. I wonder if he did anything.

That could've been me. Look around you in the theater, there are older people in animated movies, white people in black movies, young people in old people's movies.

Don't alert the police because there's someone sitting by themselves in a theater. If they're acting oddly, then yeah. Otherwise, get a grip.
