aorry for the question, hard to gather what's known so far in threads like this: do we know motive of shooter, was he targeting specific people?

Criminals and mentally unstable people don't follow the law.
Strict gun control laws only limit law abiding citizens ability to defend themselves.
I stereotype everybody.
I try to be as aware as possible everywhere I go in public. That's the easiest way to cut off these tragedies before they happen.
Terrible sad situation. Be thankful it wasn't many more victims.

We don't, and I have a feeling we may never know.
If there is any positive I can find in this, it's that the shooter started shooting from the back of the theater instead of the front, most likely allowing people to access the lower exits without having to approach him. It could have been much worse

The next mass shooting that will cause people to absolutely freak is some type of sporting event. God please never let this happen. Don't even know what to think if something like this happened at LSU football game
