But I promise you, bullying was way worse in the 70s and 80s. There’s always been bullies. That’s not new. And we had far easier access to firearms then than most kids do today. Guns haven’t changed. That’s not new either. But school shootings were virtually unheard of then.

So, bullying hasn’t changed and guns haven’t changed. Then the question is, what has actually changed. Answer that question and you get to the root cause of school shootings.

lol bullying has changed a whole frick ton. In the 80s when that kid that was bullied got home, he wasn’t bullied. Now bullying follows them home and online. It’s pervasive like it wasn’t in the 80s.

Now, I would certainly place more blame on the over medication and amount of kids on ssris and other shite that fricks with their heads than bullying, but to say bullying hasn’t changed is laughable.

I would love to see what meds that kid was on

And also, the fact the school wasn’t locked down or swarmed with local cops is shameful

A failure on so many levels and innocent people died because of it

I thought the SRO shut it down fast and they locked it down immediately?

I’m still baffled by the whole school shooting phenomenon. Apparently they’re always caused by kids being “bullied”. But I promise you, bullying was way worse in the 70s and 80s. We had guns at schools. Graduated in 91 & I had a .22 under my driver’s seat since I was 15. Many guys had gun racks or one on the back seat. Now they’re sitting ducks in a gun free zone.
