So this just happened... been researching medium-Baller level kitchen appliances and have settled in on exactly what I want. It's about $8,500-$9000 of appliances - not true Baller level but a pretty damn good sale IMO. I'm buying in the next 48 hours, today if possible.
As I'm driving somewhere it hits me - hey go in to :localapplianceretailernameredacted: and see if they can get close in price.
I parked the car and walked in - within 30 seconds I'm greeted by a nice young lady who's first question is "Do you have a mask?"
Shite - I didn't even realize I didn't have one on, don't have one with me but would gladly put one on, so I say "oh shoot, no I don't, I was just driving between locations, wasn't planning on stopping anywhere. Do you have one?" If they need one, I don't mind playing along.
She says "I don't think so, let me go ask" - and walks towards another appliance guy who proceeds to tell me I can't be in the store without a mask.
I offer to wrap my head in toilet paper if needed but that didn't work.
Welp, buying online I spose. Oh well...

Call them with the product skus and just ask if they can beat or match. Give them another chance. They're local.

I wasn't even looking for match - just get close. They treated me like a dog. Found two other locals that might have it I'll call tomorrow. Gonna email the owner of the original store on Monday.

It's a tough spot for business owners. Not enforcing mask mandates could land them fines. It's what happens in communism.

Actually, maybe this is less about masks and more about that retailer being shitty.
