MARTA in Atlanta
<——Spent at least 60 nights in my life in the ATL, mostly on business and I have spent zero minutes on MARTA.

Trying to make it a Lifetime Achievement Goal.

A few years back we took the kids to the aquarium. We stopped to eat at the Varsity on the way in. My wife, bless her heart, said there was a MARTA station nearby and we should ride it over to the aquarium. Yeah that’s not happening. I’m the only dude, and we had a 6 year old, 11 year old, and baby with us. And my wife would be no help if something were to go down.

Should have gone with the original name - Fulton-Atlanta Rapid Transit.

Contrary to unpopular belief, the trains and busses have zero effect on lessening Atlantas traffic problems. Buses clog the roads. Yet Gwinnett county government leaders are bringing up the subject again, trying to get the trains into the county. Eventually they will win and more crime will be delivered to our doorsteps.
BTW, they can run the trains and busses without the vote, but don't get the tax revenue it produces. And God only knows what a mile of heavy rail costs to build these days. A no win proposal for all but the politicians.

If you are N of I20 and East of 75/85 you are perfectly fine in Atlanta.

Because Gwinnett is a crime-free lily-white bastion as it is with zero MARTA rail?

me and my ni*** rode the MARTA through the hood
Just tryna find that hookup
Now, every day, we looked up at the ceiling
Watching ceiling fans go 'round, tryna to catch that feeling
