That article gives me headache to read. Its like author used some cheap AI to write it. Also keeps using her full name the entire article except for the early reference quoted in the OP.

It’s weird to me how many high school teachers are in their 20’s to maybe early 30’s now. I think my 4th grade teacher may have been in her late 20s to early 30s, 3rd grade teacher was mid 30s, and 5th grade teacher was mid to late 30s. That’s basically where my class peaked with having younger and fairly good looking teachers, and every one else was older and usually much older. In high school they were all between mid 40s to maybe 60 in age or at least looked that old. It’s like teachers’ ages went up with each move from elementary to middle to high school.

I don’t know the student’s age in this case, but early 20s teaching kids that will have some turn 18 during the year is just looking for trouble.

I think it’s just a numbers game. Nowadays teaching is a female profession for the most part. So more likely the stories will involve young newly hired female teachers.

Older men hooking up with teenage girls still happens. There’s lot of babysitter or employee/manager stories hit the news occasionally. And coach/player.
