My stress level seems more connected to how I'm doing personally, and not tied to women.
After my last 2 fairly long relationships ended, I was pretty damn stressed. It seemed like I was basing how successful I was at "life" on my relationships with girls when I really wasn't equipped to offer them much.
Decided to literally not care until I got all my shite in order. This involved shite like actually trying to look good every time I leave the apt and tan and do my hair and have better routines with school and eating habits and working out and stuff.
Now, it doesn't matter at all if I'm single or in a serious relationship. As long as I continue to work on myself, the rest takes care of itself....and I rarely have things to stress about.
And every relationship I have is better for it.

One of these days that will feel like work. Twice a week is plenty for this old man.
