That totally depends on the type of people they are.
I don't think my relationship would gain anything, but that doesn't mean that is the case for everyone.

Why get married if you are having sex with other people. Marriage is about being with someone you love. I dont want my wife sleeping with anyone else, she is mine. I love her. The key is that sex does not equal love, and love does not equal sex. Some people are into that idea, some people absolutely are not. You sound like you are not, but some people are.
Personally, it's not for me, but I believe that there are couples who can make it work. And I know for a fact that some people make it work, because I know couples like that who have been together for decades while having sex with other people.

im sorry some people in here dont have what i do. Laugh and joke all you want but i enjoy nothing more than comming home after work and spending time with my wife. i guess some of you are not so lucy and dont understand.

Thats the way I see it. Someone is going to be less excited about their spouse fricking someone else and eventually that will catch up. And I'm sure there are instances where people do this and live happily every after, but those instances are the minority.

no i am not, and im not talking about swingers in general. I get the idea of it. Im just saying why even be married? Why "settle down" id you want to live that lifestyle.

In small towns, everyone knows everyone so I would think that people have bigger "social circles" in small towns than in cities. I know cities are much more populated, but since many people often move to the city, they leave the "close knit group" they grew up with behind and usually develop a smaller group of close friends.
