I just wish that some of the body camera footage details would be released to calm the rumor mill around here. The speculation is making people insane.
It sounds like the footage is as bad as we think it is.

I don't think I want to watch the footage if it shows the kid. There are some things I don't want to get desensitized to..

Not the footage itself, but at least some of the details to calm down the rumor mill. I guess that stuff will come out in trial, but my God by the time the trial gets here im not sure what the folks around here will come up with.

Jeremy Mardis, 6, was shot and killed Tuesday night while in a truck with his father, Chris Few, who was critically injured. In initial statements, the marshals involved allegedly indicated they were chasing Few because he had an outstanding warrant. But no warrant has been found, and officers have refused to give statements to troopers investigating the incident.
I know I read it somewhere else, this is the closest thing I have read recently to this.

These guys don't deserve to live to see trial.

This is just a bizarre story. If it were a justified shooting at all, why would they refuse to give a statement to troopers at the scene?
Posted on 11/9/15 at 2:11 pm to NYNolaguy1
Yeah, pretty sure that's the 2 guys who were arrested. They laweryed up.
I don't think they are referring to the other officers that were involved with the stop.

I think they realized at that point how fricked they were. Better not to get caught in more lies than add fuel to the fire.

If that's true these guys may not make it to trial.
Posted on 11/9/15 at 2:27 pm to NYNolaguy1
A lawyer said the body camera footage shows Few with his hands in the air before they tried to execute him.

These guys should be happy this didn't happen before 1900. Mob justice was very real in those days.
If that video shows the kid's hands up too...

I'm in disbelief by this situation

What did slapahoe say before he edited?

There are rumors floating on the interwebs that the kid's hands are up and visible before the police killed him.
Sickening and fricked up if true.

Oh my gosh, I hope it's not true. That poor baby.

the Court is concerned that any further interviews with the press and/or media by any parties to this proceeding may unfairly prejudice the defendants right to fair trial as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution," Judge William J. Bennett wrote
And I am sure the defendant's Assistant District Attorney father had no part in that decision....

Earlier Monday, the two men accused, Derrick Stafford and Norris Greenhouse Jr., were moved from their home parish to Rapides Parish.
Avoyelles Parish Sheriff Doug Anderson spoke with Rapides Sheriff William Hilton, "and they believed we were better equipped to keep the two subjects segregated from the general population," said Rapides Lt. Tommy Carnline. "This is not the first time we have done this for other agencies."
Because both men are police officers, it is standard procedure that they be put in isolation while they are in RPSO custody, Carnline said.
I don't see any reason to segregate them from general population.
