We need body cameras to be mandatory for all officers immediately.

fricking tragic man. Moves me to tears to hear that.
Spokesman said Jeremy was buckled into his car seat in the front seat and that is how he died.
frick man.

Thought they'd be protected.
Guarantee they didn't know kid was in the car and were planning on killing the dad, then keeping it local to cover it up.
Kid dying brought in State Police and they were fricked.

Mostly people just bickering about who was responsible for the death, cops or dad.
I think most here would agree my arguments were the most logical and persuasive.

I would hope but I damn sure wouldn't guarantee. 9 year old was executed in Chicago yesterday for some shite his dad did. Some evil fricks out there.

All I know is a kid was killed, where is there a recap of what actually happened to cause the shots being fired?

LSP makes it seem like it is going to be really, really bad for the suspects. Dude won't give any details about the case whatsoever at this point, but he seems pissed the frick off.

I assure you there was reason beyond this alleged warrant that caused this tragic event! This was an execution in my opinion! and I almost NEVER take the thug punk's side!

So a child is dead. Is the father dead too?

Damn.
These dudes are f'ed.
So.......
One of the cops knows the victim, right?
The warrant thing makes no sense at all.
One of the cops has personal beef with this dude and was trying to f with him and it went south, right?

Look through NYnolaguy1's post. He's brought quite a few articles into the thread.

Nobody's sure.
Marshals falsified story, never made statements or official reports. Refused to talk to State police.
There was personal conflict between cop and dad apparently.

I read where the marshalls gave 2 stories that turned out to be false, right? Those guys are fricked based on the quote from the presser.

Based on everything that has come out in the last two days, there was absolutely nothing that caused the use of deadly force, hence the 2nd degree murder charges for the two officers.
The original reports were that the father led them on a chase with his son in the car, and then rammed a police car after he was cornered, causing the use of deadly force.
Pretty much none of that turned out to be true, and now it is unraveling like a gotdamn movie plot. There was no evidence of the father ramming an officer or car, there was no evidence of an existing warrant. It's a disaster.

One of the cops knew the victim and they hated each other. Two of the officers unloaded into the car from the side. Then the officers lied about the whole thing, claiming they were severing a warrant which was a lie. They claimed that the dad backed into them and was going to run them over, which was also discovered to be a lie. The dad was not armed and had no record of violence. 5 bullets entered the child who was also in the front of the car. Most likely, the dad knew the cop was after him for personal reasons and was scared.
As it turns out these cops are running some sort of revenue generating scheme, possibly illegal, while moonlighting as Marshals. One of the other officers had a body camera on him. LSP was deeply disturbed by it.

LSP coming out with fricking guns blazing discussing the privilege of being a police officer.
I am quite proud of the LSP today. I've mentioned before in some of my cop bashing threads that you never seem to see the state police trying to cover up their tracks and that they seem to be a trustworthy, professional outfit. These local cops are awful, but unfortunately many seem to think that local is better.

I bet this gets upgraded to 1st degree before it is over. Cops were up to some shady shite.
All they need is to show the shady shite was a chargeable felony or another qualifier.
