Nope, glad he's greasing the skids. It was simply confusing when I started seeing threads like this one claiming something had happened that I believed, correctly, was overtly illegal to do by EO.

The thread title is probably incorrect technically but it's pretty certain it's going to happen. Personally I think it should be legal altogether but this will be a step in the right direction anyway

The amount of people reeking of weed and smoking in public is just out of control. It's aging me and I'll start shouting at clouds soon.
I was in Amsterdam for several days in 2017 and you could be walking down the street randomly smelling weed. Speaking with one of the locals they indicated generally the people that smoked weed in public were tourists. The native populace did not engage in the stuff in public venues...
That was an interesting observation to me...

So Biden pledged to do this in 2019. In 2022, he started the process. And now, in late 2025, Trump is expediting the process.
