Mardi Gras vacation help

Every year we take a vacation for mardi gras. Wife, 8 and 9 year old and I will be going. Never going on a cruise again so we are looking for something like Cabo or Caribbean for like 5 nights at all inclusive resort. Anyone have suggestions on websites or good past experiences at resorts? Looking for something midrange on price. Thanks

Will probably find the best Mardi Grad experience in New Orleans, not Cabo.
Hope this helps.

I dont care for Mardi Gras thats why i am leaving. We have had enough of fighting with people over things you throw away when you get home. The kids rather the Disney trips and days on the beach.

I hope one day i could take them to the mountains or skiing but my 9 year old son is autistic and a car trip to see mountains would not be too good to him. He would ask me when the vacation starts. He can spend the entire day on a beach and have agreat time.

Last year was our first cruise we all got off the boat with the flu.

They're filthy.

The doctor visits and medicine added $500 to the cost of the cruise.

Was the doctor an MD?

No we went to urgent care at home when we got off the boat.

No MD =/= 'doctor'
Proper term is health care provider. Unless a DO or Optometrist. Jury still out on dentist. Did you see a dentist?

The last cruise I went on (and the last I'll ever go on), I had an awful sinus infection come on and then got sun poisoning when I fell asleep on a beach (obviously not cruise's fault). Then we went through an awful cold front and the boat was rocking for 24 hours straight. Probably the most miserable I've ever been.

Are you going on another cruise? What brand cruise was it?
