Do people typically wear their duke/maid pins & ducals to other krewes' balls?

For example, will member of Krewe A wear his Krewe A ducal/pin to the ball of Krewe B?

People spend thousands of dollars on this shite too, I knew a clown that was named to a court and had to get a loan to afford it. Big wheels little spokes

Heard a guy wore his pin to another Krewe one time and they baked him into a giant king cake

Are you ashamed to be affiliated with your krewe and don't want anybody else to know?

If not, frick 'em and kick the shite out of anyone that says a single word about it.

This thread is dying already.

To keep it going a bit longer, give us something else to laugh at and tell us which krewe you belong to and which ball you will be attending.

Can't speak for OP, but I was a Presiding Monsignor in the Krewe of Wigwams (at Indian Hills, on US190) and wearing any outside ducals or pinnage was expressly prohibited.
