That's quite a leap. Only person I know that died of anal cancer was Farrah Fawcett. HPV probably wasn't a focus back in her day. Don't know her or her husband's throat cancer issue but I think we need to see more data to link the two.

There are 329,001,648 people in the United States so women probably make up about half so 164,500,824. If 79 million people have hpv then maybe half are women so 39,500,000 women out of 164,500,824 have hpv or 24%.
