Packer, was coming here to post the same. Are you from up in the Northwoods? That hodag is in Rhinelander, right? My best friend is from Eagle River, beautiful part of the country.

No, originally from around Green Bay, but we went on summer vacations every year up in the Eagle River or Rhinelander area. I agree it's an absolutely beautiful area.

ETA: And yes, the Hodag is a Rhinelander thing. According to my Dad it only came after kids that were mysteriously always the same age as my sister and I.

It depends on where you’re from in Louisiana

Terrebonne parish and surrounding areas call it rougaroux

I’ve only ever heard it called loup Garoux by people from the Lafayette area

if she'd unzip that sexy yella leather top I'd unzip my fly..... in order to provide easier access to my concealed carry boomstick so I can....relieve myself......of the will to live.

I have to disagree. The 1/2 that's Cajun come from Dulac/Houma. It's the "Loup Garoup" for us.

Um - well my great grandma from Theriot said ‘rougaroux’

And my chauvin/cocodrie husband says rougaroux too

He actually won’t let us say it bc it calls it
