Sure it does. Banks make money by loaning money. The more money the bank has the more they can loan. For small businesses, mortgages and so on.

I like how years ago on the news all you heard about was people don't save near enough. Fast forward, then they said people need to spend more to help the economy.

I'm going to go eat some eggs I hear they are now good for cholesterol .
