Not at the end on east causeway. Crawling by with no throws left.

Drunk women blew their load on 22 and West Causeway.

God, I forget how little these old ladies throw. Least prepared krewe I've ever seen. It's like they didn't plan for anything tonight. My kids left this parade so disappointed.

Truth. They only throw to kids, other women, and freaks.
Otherwise fun time. I don’t care about the trinkets as much.

As it should be. Mardi Gras is for the kids to catch shite, the women to group gossip and the men to cook and drink. I always shake my head when I see grown men snatching throws tossed to kids.

Exactly, grown ups who insist on catching beads are trashy.
Wtf am I going to do with a trinket or a bead.
After MG is over we let the kids go through the spoils and they keep the nice shite and I then bring the beads to the drop box so they special needs folks can sell them. I don't want that shite in my garage cluttering it up.

ARC GNO
They let the special needs people a job separating and repackage donated beads. The organization sells the beads to krewes and with the proceeds ARC takes on trips and stuff.
Its basically a adult daycare w/ supervision, they have a job..... ect.
I had to do community service hours in high school there. Its pretty cool

They don't throw anything. They hand them to kids. I was 2 rows back with a seven year old on my shoulders and caught barely anything. My wife on the second to last float finally saved the day. Otherwise worthless krewe.

Yeah we basically catch stuff for the kids or dog or just to have fun with it, don’t really bring back a lot.

Mandeville Moms rumor mill at its best. At least five marching bands and a bunch of high school dance teams and other stuff.
I in fact do not remember any of the actual bands playing last night

Mandeville, Fontainebleau, St. Paul’s weren’t there this year

Moms = no bands

Gleason = there are at least five bands marching

LSU = there were bands but I didn’t hear them play so there weren’t bands

The parking thing didn’t seem a huge issue for us in our specific area/plan, but I could see it being bad for some.

What bands were there? I remember possibly 6 black kids playing drums

I saw some high school dance teams. I in fact did not see the marching bands like they always have

Are St Paul's and Mandeville at it again? Or St Pauls and Covington?

There were a handful of bands. I remember Lake Harbor for one.

Lake Harbor? Isn’t that a middle school?

Only bands I remember were a black one that didn’t play and non marching bands on the back of a truck

Now I may have not noticed a tiny middle school band. But I definitely noticed mandeville, Fontainebleau, lakeshore, and St. Paul’s all weren’t there this year with the band which is normally a good product
