Nah man it takes more than that to rustle me. But all bullshite aside, you really let it live? Please tell me you don't have kids.

It was my dad's dog. I can't put down another mans dog.

All and all he was a good dog.

eta my dad was a surgeon and sewed me up. Just a few stitches on either side of my wrist. His canines went down to the bone. In the event a dog actually bites you, don't pull away because the wound will tear making it worse.

Food for thought if this scenario plays out. You'll bleed out slower.

Yes you could. I'd have killed him immediately and frick any family member that opposes.

It's just like when we had the movie theater shooting threads and people thought they could pick off a guy in the dark with a handgun while he's spraying bullets with an AR in full tactical gear.

Not to mention I cared about the dog. It's not like I showed up at my dads house, met a new dog, and it bit me.

I knew the dog since it was a puppy.

You can stop with the tough talk. We see through your schtick.

Huh? That's not internet badass. That's the facts. I had a house dog that chased after my son, snapping at him. She never actually bit him bc he was able to get away. This was provoked by him trying to put her in her kennel bc we were leaving. I took her outside, shot and buried her. Would do the same to any other dog that bit me or a family member. No dog is worth risking injury to family.

That was dumb, but not at all like this thread.

That's a different scenario than mine and I agree with the decision.

You're right, but my stance is still that your dad's bulldog should have been shot.

Not even a little. I've had dogs snap at my kids and I disciplined them and then also educated my kids. Sometimes dogs bite. You have to be a special kind of pussy to put a bullet in a dog for snapping.

Here's a scenario for you. By what you've said it sounds like you would kill my current dog or any other terrier I've met.

I'm sitting on the couch with my wife and playing around with her. The terrier starts barking and tries to bite me thinking I'm attacking her.

Eta If you ever buy a terrier go ahead a keep a hole ready.

All the bickering aside, I genuinely hope I never read a thread by you about your kids being injured by a dog bc their dad was too much of a fricking idiot to do the right thing and protect them.

You have to be a special kind of pussy to put a dog above your kids' safety.

You're the only one who's kids have been in danger. Sounds like you need to learn how to raise a dog.

I'd correct the dog, but it's only trying to protect its owner. Not the same.
