Really?? So people shouldn't be allowed to join friends or family at a tailgate simply because they don't have a ticket? Hell, on any given Saturday there's plenty of people who remain outside tailgating after kickoff rather than going into Tiger Stadium.

Seriously, I wonder how many times something like this has happened and never made the news?
My point being.. On game day of a night game, there will be a fight or two that breaks out.. Someone does something stupid... But this makes the news and everyone flips out and wants radical change to tailgating policies, etc.

But you don't get the game day atmosphere at home on the coach the way you do on campus surrounded by 150K others. While I enjoy grilling on the patio and watching a game there, I love a good road trip to Baton Rouge, Oxford, StarkVegas, Tuscaloosa, etc. Have met lots of new people that way and always have a blast. To each his own I guess.
