LSU needs to just expand closer and closer to downtown and eventually buy out property down there. An LSUHSC in downtown BR makes complete sense.

Shreveport? That shite is stupid to this day.

I think it would be way more expensive to do that over cleaning up the Tigerland area

They aren't section 8, but the large majority of people living north of LSU and in Tigerland are low income and aren't workers/students at LSU. All three of these incidents happened right off campus near "student housing" and I promise you it isn't students shooting each other, nor are the people who are doing this driving across town to come into these areas. They are already living right there.

When I responded none of the post but what I quoted was there, people love to go back and edit things once they realize it sounded stupid.

In a way they did, right? With the water campus and all the various buildings associated with that. That area looks much nicer now with LSU foundation and the married student housing torn down and much nicer buildings added. Then from the other end of the river towards LSU water campus has improved that stretch as well.

LSUPD needs to have a stop and frisk policy where they check all the “suspicious” characters They could call it a “holistic” profiling policy

I stand corrected. Nicely done. Just proves my point even more though. All the shootings/crime occuring around LSU's campus isn't being done by the students and it has to do with the section 8/low income housing surrounding campus.

LSU knows this is going on too. Parents post complaining about it on the LSU parents Facebook page, and then hours later those post are whacked.

You underestimate the stupidity of most hoodrats. The hood has a high crime rate because a lot of hoodlums target the area around them.
