Man shot at Gravier and Magazine, police say

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting at Gravier and Magazine Streets.

Initial reports indicate that one man was shot at the location. The shooting occurred on Wednesday around 9 :20 p.m.

Probably a devoted city worker working extra hours despite the low staffing and marginal pay to make sure the utilities in that district were functioning properly. Damn shame

It's chucks 24 hour sketchy sports bar. Crowd there runs a wide array. Some nights very sketchy, other times simply service industry

There is a bar right there that used to be Chuck's 24/7 that has turned a bit hood over the past several years. It's a service industry hangout fwiw

Last time I was there it was a good bit of homeless people type.
