I was on the phone with the frau when I opened this thread(She's from Alexandria). I said "someone got shot at the wally world in Alec" and she responded immediately with "probably the one on Coliseum".

N/M, She just clarified that she was surprised it wasn't "the one by the mall". We live Alabama now FWIW. I'm not the best listener.

Except for when the injured party doesn't press charges, as this man didn't.
That's how women usually end up dead in these circumstances to, they take a beating or 2 or even 10 and don't file charges, but old boy got arrested finally and spent one night in jail before being released and then he's really pissed so he kills a bitch when he gets home. Seen it lots.
