I can make out the northeastern and upper midwestern inflections in the video. That block party may as well be in Cleveland or Chicago. Crazy that people are moving to Nola. I grew up here in the 80s and everyone was leaving. You could buy a big house uptown for less than a fortune back then. Now people are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on houses in the seventh ward. Never thought I would see that.
Thanks to everyone who did all the social media and public records sleuth work. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. This thread is why I love TD.
