I get that pigs/hogs can be a nuisance problem, but there are more humane ways to accomplish the same thing.

How are you gonna kill multiple animals like that "humanely"?

Yeah, like getting 5 or 6 hunters with high powered rifles to just shoot until they all fall.

You're 100% positive there aren't 4 wounded animals slowly dying under that cloud of blood and dirt?

I don't think you know how this works, cocksucker.

Everything's gotta eat.

And it can be accomplished without the involvement of suffering. So your neanderthal sensibilities allow you to bask in the suffering of completely vulnerable animals (from that distance).

quote:

Bet you don't care when a carrot is ripped out of the ground, all it's tendrils and roots being torn away and left to die in a pile.

Yeah, you're a fricking moron.

quote:

Bet you don't give a shite when you kill a roach and it's there wiggling and not quite dead.

Luckily, I don't live in filth. So I don't see many roaches. But if I did, I think I'm man enough to kill my roach-prey in a single attempt. Sucks that you can't, pussy.

Or when you put a mousetrap out.

Never had to.

Seriously

Just makes you more of a neanderthal.

Only operative word in that sentence..."dying".

You think animals die automatically when you shoot them? Ever tracked fatally wounded animal?

I guarantee you those hogs that are wounded will be subsequently dispatched

What's the point of killing something and not utilizing it afterwards? To me, that's the very definition of slob hunter

That is my philosophy as well, for native species.

Invasive species like hogs and nutria, I am ok with anything. The more dead, the better. If you feel like eating them, great, but I have no issues with people slaughtering things that aren't supposed to be there in the first place.

My disgust lies more in the fact that the guys who did it showed no desire to get close enough to attempt to put them out of their misery. No sense of urgency. Only laughter.

None of my hunting experiences involved shooting an animal, sitting around laughing at how clever we were to have outsmarted said animal, and gradually checking on the animal (if they even did that) when our laughter died down.

Awww...da wittle arky piggie is mad his mascot is getting removed with extreme prejudice...

Log shoot a wild hog...guess what, unless you get a perfect shot (and from that distance, it would be hard to do, and it would send all the rest hightailing it and they'd go destroy and breed more) they are gonna "suffer".
Killing isn't a pretty thing and not without mess...but it still has to be done for the good of all.

quote:

Yeah, you're a fricking moron.

Because I'm able to think outside the little cultural box you live in to see the world for how it is?

quote:

Luckily, I don't live in filth. So I don't see many roaches. But if I did, I think I'm man enough to kill my roach-prey in a single attempt.

Lol. So you never in your life have been somewhere where there was a roach? Which is just about as indestructible as they come? (Also, roaches=\=filth. They are one of the most ubiquitous insects on the planet and thrive in damn near every environment. Louisiana has wood roaches everywhere. So the "filth" comment is moronic.)And I bet you scream like a pussy and slap effeminately at the roach.

quote:

Never had to.

So you don't kill the mice that live in your area? Just let them live?

quote:

Just makes you more of a neanderthal.

Meaning what exactly? That I'm not a limp wristed little poofter like you?

Fine by me. Your woman likes it when I go caveman on her arse.

OH NO! They celebrated a well coordinated multi kill of a nuisance animal for a whole 10 seconds before rushing over there like some battlefield medics to...what exactly? Those piggies were blown to shite and good as dead.

Who cares whether it takes another minute for them to go?
And I didn't hear any squealing...

Wow...I'd rather eat broken glass than hunt with you then.

While I see nothing wrong with this video really, I always respect the animals I kill.

This wasn't a kill, this was a stunt. You can kill them humanely. I'm not a Peta person, but this is messed up.

Seemed to kill them pretty dead to me.

So when we send a bomb into ISIS...is that a stunt?

Do you think soldiers don't celebrate a successful missile strike? Or they immediately get all maudlin and say..."what have we done...we are murderers...blood is on our hands..."

How was the kill inhumane? Please explain to me how an instant death is inhumane.

Obviously you don't deer hunt bc you're actually supposed to wait 20-30min to let the deer die/bleed out after you hit it. If not, the deer has a higher chance of getting spooked and running for days only to be lost.

By your logic, you would be ok with someone drowning a few puppies bc they were being a nuisance by barking a little too much when trying to watch the game.

Please tell me you're kidding with this comparison.

They still pay for nutria pelts right? I know the Cajuns cook those things right?

I hate invasive species as much as the next guy. Whether it's the flying carp, pigs, snake heads, nutria, etc, etc. Have a year round season on em with no limits. Kill the shite out of em and do something with them. Pelt em out for money. Clean them for the meat. Donate them to a needy family.

I think we can all agree that if these dudes had pulled the same thing on a group of deer, we would all be raising hell. Just because it's an invasive species shouldn't be any different.
