All this, plus Princess Jasmine is one piece of work.

Is Social media creating a society of sociopaths or just exposing it?

I get the Air Force jokes now...

Hell, I'd settle for being able to afford to just sit at home and not go to work for 5.5 years

If he went 365 days with the $1,000 annual pass he paid $3 a day. Tack on meals and shite and it's really no different than getting $15 lunches everyday and getting dinner every night. It's sounds crazy to do but it really isn't that expensive when you look at the numbers.
OK, so factor in the time. It's no small thing just to get into the park, so he obviously doesn't work a lot of hours each day. Maybe he inherited a bunch of $, or made a tone of money and retired early - but more likely (I suspect) he's working a lower paying job that gives him the flexibility to get off every day during park hours (and spend what little he's making on his kids' fantasy.....)

Sociopaths? Maybe not. Idiots? Obviously......

Disneyland? That's even worse. Disneyland is way smaller than Disney world

This is Disneyland though. Not Disney World. From what I understand you'd almost drive right by it in Anaheim if you didn't know it was there. It's not nearly the spectacle of going to Disney World. And I'm guessing they don't have kids.

I've spent a lot of time at both. Yes, Disney World is harder (bigger), but getting into and out of Disney Land is still a time intensive logistical issue- parking, taking transportation, etc.... so it's not exactly like swinging by Wal Mart on the way home..... It's a couple hours investment at least to make it worth stopping by each day even with an annual pass.

And if he drives there at 100 mph he's paying next to nothing in gas.
And? The point isn't that he "saved money by spending it."
Just that the wild figures going around, mostly due to people confusing Disneyland with Disney world, weren't so wild.
In any event, I'm curious how many times he walked in and walked out. I doubt he spent 3 hours there every night. I bet he probably didn't buy anything most nights. Weird way to spend your time, but could be worse.

He's obviously figured out a plan to sustain a daily visit for over 5 years. I'm sure his patience level is out of this world.

I mean, don't we all wish we could leave straight from work EVERY DAY and head to a world of bad actors dressing up like characters from fairy tales and spinning around in a fricking tea cup ride with a bunch of 3rd graders? Seriously, wtf is wrong with this guy?

Big assumption. I bet a long time ago he started thinking of this record and had more than a few in and outs. It's a waste to do that but hell, I "waste" gas to the gym every day before going home I suppose.
