Man Dead After Shooting Near Howell Park

The incident happened near Howell Park at Winbourne Avenue and Elm Drive. The man was reportedly dead when EMS arrived on scene. We will update this story with more information as we receive it.

I have a feeling the citizens around there would be doing research and broadening their horizons, if the new library was open downtown.

Howell park isn’t by Mercy.

I’m sorry the Baton Rouge zoo is above Scotlandville. I forgot it was in such a convenient place.
