FWIW, Size 12 in the UK is a size 8 in the US. All of their clothes are two sizes up from ours. Vanity sizing in the US now due to the obesity epidemic.

In the UK, it is overwhelmingly a guy name not a girl name; the same applies to Robin/Robyn
It threw me for a serious loop for a few years, when I moved to Ireland and did business in the UK on a regular basis.
