I've had posters tell me that they would still be posting here a certain period of time later and that I wouldn't be. While I don't expect any special treatment due to my illness I certainly think that is over the line and would never say anything resembling it. I don't say anything on this board that I wouldn't say in real life. If you are going to cross the line you shouldn't be able to do it from the comfort of anonymity.

I never understood making fun of anyone's disability, either.

It's not like they could help it, most of the time. I figure there is always karma, where the heckler would end up in a heelchair himself.

Lets say the OT is a bar.
We are all patrons, some are regulars the Norms, DR Cranes,the Carlas, The Sams and Dianes and yes a few Cliffs. Woodys and Coaches
and there are regulars we are less familiar with but we feel like we know them because they are always there in the background and there are strangers, newbies and unfamiliars and the occasional special guest

we drank, we debate, we laugh, we argue, we grieve, we love and we have stupid pointless discussions on what cheese you would be or if Superman fought for the Germans in WW2
like any other familiar group, we are all unique and all the same. We respect the rules of the room because thats what allows all of us to enjoy the room.

then theres this crippled guy thats a regular at the bar as well and when he first showed up we all felt sorry for him because we arent heartless people. ANd for fricks sake he's in a wheelchair of course we feel sorry for him,,,its pathetic and sad.

Then the cripple starts to make everyone else pay for a round of drinks ( because his in a chair and takes advantage of the pity) but he never pays for a round of drinks for others. makes up his own rules as he goes along

every debate he tries to dominateand or avoid the subject and facts , not use reason or logic but names calls,

He can never enjoy the laugh as part of the group he has to quickly get the focus back on him and away from anyone or anything else.
AND on top of all this he stalks the girls in the bar, trying to talk to them when theyre talking to someone else, he follows girls to the bathroom creeping them out, making them uncomfortable in a place with friends making it less fun for them
This cripple purposefully runs over people toes with his chair or bumps into a table knocking over their beers, he interrupts the conversation and doesnt apologize, just rolls away, cause he doesnt care if he annoys, he doesnt care if he is borish or rude or interupts, he just wants the attention not matter what.
