There's a point that a happy balance can be reached that is good for all. I want to see oil prices up because I understand the big picture. I have no production and rely on it for none of my income. It hurts a few here in the local economy but not as many as it would have 30 years ago. More diversified now. But LA gonna be F$%ked with the shutdown and low arse oil prices. Maybe someday y'all will purge your leaders and get some business savvy ones that will take advantage of your natural resources, attract outside investment, and be just a little fiscally responsible. Great food, great state, good people (overall). Shitty politics.

ETA-Bama fan. But a strong, steady oil and gas industry benefits us all.
