Moreso just saying I don't know that it's necessarily fair to say "American women ____" when it's really just certain American women.
We are all liberal, fat, cheating whores with a Jody on the side waiting to take half our husband’s money to pay for Jacxxxxxtynynynyn’s travel ball

I think so. When I say this, I am speaking generally so basically the average of an amalgamation of what ive experienced.

You say you're not talking about in social gathering places like restaurants or bars, but I'd argue the venn diagram of women who keep themselves looking nice and the women who are socially active intersect a whole lot. That doesn't mean they don't also look nice when they make grocery runs, although I will give you that they're probably still in their pilates attire, but I'd also argue that's not a bad look for some of them.
Women dont dress at all in workout attire in Europe except when they are at gym. Skin tight leggings might look good on them to a guy...but its not considered appropriate at the market to the general public. Modesty is still a thing in traditional countries

There is nothing wrong with generalizations based of years of observations.

There are tons of great women out there, and great men. Unfortunately, there are loads of shitty ones, too.
But let’s focus on the bad because that’s more fun.

I mean, things are pretty bleak here. You could make the same arguments about American men, but I won’t because I’m straight and don’t care

Here’s the information on the average height and weight of American and Polish women based on available data:
### American Women
- **Average Height**: Approximately 5 feet 3.5 inches (63.5 inches or about 161.3 cm). This is derived from recent data tracking adult women aged 20 and older in the United States.
- **Average Weight**: Around 170.8 pounds (77.5 kg). This figure reflects measurements from the same demographic, showing a trend of increasing weight over recent decades.
### Polish Women
- **Average Height**: Approximately 5 feet 6 inches (167.8 cm). Studies of Polish women, particularly those born between 1931 and 2001, indicate an average height increase over time, with younger generations reaching around this mark.
- **Average Weight**: Specific current averages are less consistently documented, but historical data suggest a range around 130–150 pounds (59–68 kg) for adult women, depending on age and cohort. For a more precise modern estimate, combining height with typical BMI trends (around 25–26 for European women), an average weight might be approximated at 145–155 pounds (66–70 kg).

I've had professional interactions with 3 different Russian/Ukraine women.
All 3 were absolute PITAs. I'd never consider any relationship with women from there.
No wonder the alcoholism rate is so high...

They were probably educated women. That’s the real problem. It all started going downhill when we started teaching them and they got all uppity.

It’s be great if the fat men and women were attracted to each other.

Just general, entitled, pissy dispositions...

Its not. Im not saying im some world traveler extraordinaire but ive spent months in Europe. There is a night and day difference between American women and European women. Even more so when you spend time in a more traditional country like Poland, Hungary, etc. Most American women would hate visiting an Eastern/Central European country Its not about when one goes out for dinner, its about having self respect AND respect for others to be presentable when you leave your house. When someone dresses like a slob going to the store, class etc it shows not only a lack of self respect but a lack of respect for your neighbor This post was edited on 3/25/25 at 9:50 am
Agree I dated a French woman, they are very straight forward. They don’t except chivalry and you to take care all the bills. They also don’t see relationships as something they are supposed to be taken care of in.

She didn’t shut up until an old lady asked her ‘if it’s so bad here, then why not go home?’

As for the original topic of this thread, you can’t imagine how bad it is out there. Especially if you’re over 40, you don’t understand how much the dating landscape has changed since Covid. The apps are broken, everyone is too poor to afford to hang out in public, and I just can’t describe how dysfunctional interactions have become. It’s so much worse.

Just marry right the first time, pretty simple

Man. I see this a lot in spaces like Reddit, and it may be true overall. But. People are out spending money in droves in my personal experience. I just don't know what % of them are single people.
My girlfriends and I went to a festival on Sunday that was $100+fees, and not only was it a massive turnout, nearby restaurants/bars that are normally closed on Sundays opened for it knowing they'd make bank. And they did.
When people say nobody is going out, I wonder when was the last time they tried to make a last minute reservation on OpenTable. Half the town is fully booked during peak hours by midweek (exaggeration, but you get my point).

I am saying that the number of outings that single people go to has dropped massively from 5 years ago, and even more from 20 years ago. People still do “go out”, but it’s only for planned experiences. Single people just existing in public third places like bars and coffee shops happens far far less than it did just a few years ago. It makes it much much more difficult to meet people the old fashioned way.
The sad truth is that as the dating apps become more gamified, more pay to win, and less useful, they increasingly became THE screening device for initiating interactions. A bad filter made everyone worse off. Women have finally figured out that the apps don’t work any more and have started moving away from them, but they still haven’t figured out what should replace it, and still don’t exist in public enough for approaching to bridge the gap.
This is cultural problems manifesting from an economic problem: people in their 20’s are cripplingly poor right now, and fewer than ever are graduating college with decent jobs in their majors. Being too poor to drink all the time has made them too poor to hang out at bars nearly as much as they used to. In addition, they’re actually working MORE hours than previous generations did. Economic factors resulting in social problems. It’s no wonder that women are being more “choosy”.

I see both sides. People on here are older and have more money than most 25 year olds.
Taking a girl out to a bar or restaurant (not even high end or upscale) is a hell of a lot more expensive than it was in 2019.
eta: some of the bars I go to definitely have fewer young people frequenting them than they did 5/6 years ago.

Mine do as well, but I figured that's because we all still go there and they don't want to be with the fogies.

An old fashion and two glasses of wine: $46 the other night. And we were there for like an hour and a half so I tip based on what the ticket would be if we got food too because I don’t want to stiff the server because we didn’t turn the table over. Cost me almost $70 for a couple drinks

The real issue is that most "great" men and women are taken. The "great" singles have trouble finding each other because of these percentages.
