Problem is missile defense systems don’t detect slow moving drones very well due to no true heat signature.

I would imagine that regular radar systems would easily pick up radar echo's from the whirling blades of the drones. A jets spinning turbine blades are a huge reflector of radar signals.

I would imagine a drones props are just as easily detected if looking for that type of signature.

The best countermeasures for drones are electronic jamming and other drones.

Both are commercially available

Pompeo Twitter

IRGC wants war with US, Isreal, or Saudis in order to consolidate the Iranian people behind them.

US is trying to hold the Saudis back because the sanctions are working at getting the people of Iran annoyed with the IRGC.

The refinery is going to be down for 6 months.

Developed by Israel, not us

Raytheon was a key participant, and we paid for it via FMS and offsets. Manufacturing is done in Israel, though those manufacturing jobs should have stayed in America.

You're right about Aegis though. I used to work on the SM-6 project, the entire IWS suite of weapons is nothing short of incredible in their ability to defend from threats 150 miles (well beyond trackable radar range) with SM-6 down to 100 yards with Phalanx/CWIS.
