My previous comment addresses this perfectly.

How long til you start asking us to prove a negative?

All I’m asking is what is the crime he’s being accused of.

He has not been charged with a crime. For the.... 3rd time.

Whatever crime is in the search warrant issued by a federal magistrate.

Once again, this act is really kinda cringy at this point.

Which is what?

Nope, you've never asked about what the warrant surrounds. You keep asking what he's accused of. Which is nothing. Though understandable you can't perceive the difference.

so the paintings are evidence of a crime that no one knows what type of crime probably or probably didn’t happen but can’t say what type of crime occurred

Well, search warrants aren't public record.

probably or probably didn’t happen but can’t say what type of crime occurred

Nope, see the magistrate found that it probably did happen. That's known as "probable cause." Hence the issuance of the warrant.

This isn't hard. The story is about the raid on the mansion. Not charges. Not accusations. Are you one of Fouad's buddies freaking out right now or something? You kinda look nuts.

Just curious what the raid was about. I don’t know the guy or anything about him.

Trying to just understand what he could have done wrong and how could whatever it is be connected to politicians

Magnolia Mansion

Dudes just a weird attention whore who found a way to become rich and famous catering to a niche. (I did happen to read his autobiography in jail though. more entertaining than youd think)

Anyone who knows him will tell you he's very nice and a loyal person. Nonetheless, there's zero chance he is uninvolved in criminal activity with his lifestyle.

These are your words. Are you accusing him of being a criminal? Don’t you work in the DA’s office? I would assume you know more than most.

That's his cousin that wrote Zeitoun. He went on to beat his wife almost to death and is in prison awaiting deportation last I checked.

No I don't work in the DA's office. I also like Fouad and hope it works out for him. But... I know Fouad.

i'm asking. What the hell is going on here? And why did news outlets lead with his political donations? I assumed Newsweek just wanted to get "GOP" in the headline, and were forced to tag Democrats too.

Gotcha. I don’t know him. I’m just curious as to what he would be raided for.

What does it have to do with politics???

Drugs
Gambling
Sex trafficking
Ponzi scheme
Tax evasion

????

It's because it's not just that he makes political donations, he clings to every single politician. Every day of the week, he is at lunch or dinner with multiple politicians, and he really has no interest to gain other than building himself as a kingmaker in his mind. Holyfield follows him around like a puppy. On election night, he forces himself onto the stage and stands directly next to them as they give victory speech. He was the one standing next to Latoya holding the heavyweight belt on election night. He really did just crash Carter's election speech because it helps his story. But they let him do it, it's like they are all scared.

He has found a way to intertwine himself into politics like few others with his background. He's a Syrian immigrant who likely never reported a dollar of income if he's even ever filed a tax return, he owns the mansion, walks around with rolls of cash, and no one really knows how.

Okay. Now I’m getting an idea of who and what this clown is.

Can you post any pics of him on stage with the belt? That shite is hilarious

Hmm... I guess that could be what I read it was 20 years ago. I do remember that he seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with talking shite about Courtney Love and that there was a VERY extensive list of examples of random things that would 100% mean that one was a homosexual. Very flawed list though, I'm completely straight yet I know who the Smith's are, own some music from both the smiths and solo Morrissey as well as at one point rocking a truly epic pompadour that would have made Morrissey himself dizzy in it's new wave glory

When I googled to see who he was, most of the other stories I found were about his son being killed outside a bar.
