It doesn't matter, Santa Claus is an imaginary character.
If you told a 3 year old white child the story of Santa, he'd probably imagine it as a white man. If you told a 3 year old black child the story, they'd probably imagine it as a black man.
Just because the first cartoon you saw had a white santa doesn't mean it is "right"
It is a STORY, meant for children's imaginations, it is in the eyes of the listener.

I'm just sick of having 70% of people portrayed on social events(MACYS PARADE) as minorities. Hopefully it's just a phase. Don't watch and they get the message.

A Dutch myth based off of a real guy, Saint Nicholas, who certainly wasn't black.

This is cultural appropriation at its highest form. inventions of Kwanzaa and Juneteenth, I don’t think AA’s would like us whitewashing their conjured-up holidays, so leave the Dutch and English imaginary figure alone.

Typical idiotic leftist reply. Claim it’s no big deal what color a character is while ignoring the fact it was important enough to change their race to begin with. You’d probably be one of the first to be offended if a historically black character were swapped to white.
