I use to never look at the nutrition info on anything. Now I have to check the info on everything. You'd be amazed at what you'll find from a saturated fat and sodium standpoint.

The real shocker is sodium levels in some foods you'd never think were high in sodium. Even things like cheese can have really high sodium levels. If you don't pay close attention it's so easy to eat several times the recommended daily amount of sodium. My cardiologist told me the average person should have no more than 2,300 Mg of sodium per day (he told me to try and not go over 1,000 Mg a day). But here in Alabama the average person consumes like 9,000 Mg per day. It's crazy.

Yep. I track my macros, and sodium is constantly the one that shocks me. I've already logged everything I'm going to eat today, and I'm 760mg over my 2300mg goal. And that's at 795 calories for the day. I'm barely eating anything, yet I'm 760mg over on my sodium.

Started at 115. I'm at 103 as of two days ago after getting over the flu. Goal is 95. I'm 4'9"ish so that's a good weight for my height. My goal was 100, but I don't look the way I want currently at 103, so I pushed it to 95.

Things are moving. There was a guy who was in that thread I started who got me in touch with the firm his wife works for in NO. They've got all my medical records (which are VERY damning to those doctors) and are reviewing them now. In fact they had me sign a consent form to let them "certified" copies from the docs. This was after their experts had already gone over the records I gave them. That tells me they think we may have a pretty solid case. I hope so because I want to bury those fricking doctors for what theyve done to me.

They've currently got a big Malpractice case trial going and when they're done with that, I'm hoping we can move forward with mine.

I wish that is what I was recovering from. I'd trade it in a second for this.
