It still blows my mind that so many people don't have this approach.
I will never understand why people have made it into such a big deal. Like you said, its really not that big of a deal.
The fact that people think otherwise is funny and sad at the same time.

It’s not always black and white. Sometimes people just forget their masks and not making a statement. People should try not to judge and make it the worst case scenario and think they are social superior and can lecture.

Only people I fuss at are people at my work...cause it’s my job and expected of my role to do so and enforce hospital policy.
Out in public, i just stay away. You wanna be difficult and whiney about it....whatever. Just stay away from me and others when out in public please. As for forgetting....everyone is human, I have had to walk back to my car to get my mask..it happens.

I've worked with infection control nurses a lot. I can't imagine being one right now..

I stopped wearing one at work in October. I wear it when I go in places that require it. That is it.
I also avoid a lot of things because of it. It’s nice to have clear skin again.

When we went to nola Saturday I ran in and out of a place to grab something real quick and realized when I was back in the car I never put a mask on. I don't wear one at home so I forgot.

It fricking sucks. I have to deal with something related to COVID every fricking day at work. Whether it’s policies we are constantly updating to keep up with all the changing CDC protocols, calculating the daily numbers we are federally mandated to report, etc.
At least it has slowed down a lot here. I can actually have more time to do the non COVID stuff I still am expected to do.
I get emails at least once a week asking if I want to relocate for various infection control jobs across the country. They are offering crazy $$$$ to do so. Many places desperate for infection control staff.

Yep. Kim lives in my neighborhood and doesn't have it, but we never lost it over here. The house across the street from him has it, so you know that's just salt in the wound. He's on the grid with the street behind him. A large % of our neighborhood does not have it, according to the map.
He came over yesterday to get some firewood from my neighbor and drink a quick beer with us. He also brought us a pot of gumbo a couple hours ago. He looks cold
I saw 3 Entergy trucks in the neighborhood at different times today, but no luck yet I guess. I think they're going stay with his daughter. We've offered rooms as well, but it sounds like they can make it down to her place safely now.

yea. it was like this last two weeks of march last year. when people cant go out or get delivery (heb does doordash or something) you see 3x as many people at the grocery store
