I give the characters in the stories voices that befit the illustration when they ask me to read you degenerate.
It generally gets the "you are such a fricking dork" or "practicing for when you knock one of your 'dates' up?" from my buddies, but the women normally retort with "it's cute" or the one's I've known for awhile "gotta keep practiced for when you get to be a step daddy huh?!".
I only do character impersonations out of the blue when mini AS is trying to be cool and I want to embarrass him. Apparently a 9yr old doesn't want dad to do Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh voices intermittently in conversations while out in public.
